Topic: It's a Matter of Balance

Dr. Smiley has been a professor and Internal Healing Arts Coordinator at Normandale Community College, Bloomington, MN since 1987. He was the chair of the Health Department from 1993-2002 at the College. He has served as an adjunct associate professor and graduate advisor at St.
Mary's University Graduate Center in Minneapolis. While at Normandale, he has developed and taught Stress Management, Intro to the Theory and Practice of Tai Chi Ch'uan and Intro to the Theory and Practice of Healing Qigong.

Whether we are assisting others or engaging in our personal practices, the root of our efforts is to be in the present moment and to find the sacredness in our lives. Our success as practitioners and teachers is discovering that fine line between doing and being, and learning to lean towards the latter.

There are many paths that support us in exploring our lives and finding this balance; the blend of Tai Chi Ch'uan and Feng Shui has been an invaluable path on Dr. Smiley's 30-year journey. Come and see how he beautifully combines the two modalities into one.

Open to the public:
non-members admission $27, members $9
