9 Simple Feng Shui Things to
Incorporate This Holiday Season

  1. Consider putting your tree up in a different spot this year - perhaps a place in your living/family room that corresponds with an associated area of the bagua that you are currently focused on.

  2. Use Christmas lights and candles to "fire up" bagua areas that may need a little boost.

  3. Remember clutter concepts. Go through your Christmas stuff with reverence and sort out items that really touch your heart and move the rest on their way. Even rituals can become routine.

  4. Look to the universe to help you with gift suggestions/selections. Last year I decided not to worry about what I would give as gifts and instead spent more time listening to what my friends/relatives were indirectly telling me they would like. In almost all cases, I found that the right gift "showed up" just when needed.

  5. Greet sales clerks and those working hard this holiday season with a special smile or thought. Your life will be rewarded accordingly.

  6. Use Creativity to heighten the season remembering that Christmas is a time for celebration of birth and new life. Wear metal earrings/jewelry. Use round shapes where possible.

  7. Purple is the liturgical color for Advent and also the bagua area of Wealth. Use the color purple with an intention of increasing the flow of abundance in your life.

  8. Decorate your Christmas letters/cards with special stamps and seals.

  9. Believe that sacred time will be available. Deliberately slow down. Invite a friend for tea or coffee. Look for new opportunities to celebrate the season. Be a "Helpful Person" to someone you don't know well.
