Bio: Barbara Bobrowitz, founder of Energetic Alignments, is a highly trained Feng Shui expert teacher and consultant. She studied extensively with H.H. Professor Lin Yun, RIncpoche, James Jay, and Katherine Metz, with whom Barbara still explores the nuances of BTB Feng Shui.
To her Feng Shui practice, Barbara incorporated work with indigenous shamans and healers in the US, Ecuador, and Peru, along with a chakra & aura healing system developed by John Friedlander and Gloria Hemsher. All of these enable her to assist her clients in the US, Canada and South America to make conscious and beneficial changes in their lives.
Barbara is a member of the International Feng Shui Guild and the Feng Shui Institute of the Midwest.
Beginning in 2008, she has volunteered in the Charlotte Partridge Ordway Japanese Garden as an interpretive guide.
Description: The focus of this hour-long slide presentation will be on
- The 100+ year evolution of this nationally-ranked Japanese Garden;
- The Feng Shui principle of balancing yang and yin through intentional selection & placement of every element by Masami Matsuda of Nagasaki who designed and built the current garden; and
- How the traditional elements of a Japanese garden: rocks, plants, water, paths, bridges and lanterns - are uniquely combined in Como’s garden with its teahouse where authentic tea ceremonies take place.
Then, you’ll experience the garden at your own pace and in your own way.
